Lesley Magee
Executive Director
With over 25 years of experience in project management and community-based programming, Lesley is passionate about building thriving communities. Her career spans the not-for-profit and higher education sectors, where she has led diverse initiatives from concept to sustainable programs — from Cojolya Association's safe stove program in Guatemala's Lake Atitlan region to a professional Master's program in Finance at Saint Mary's University. She has spent the last few years leading the Well-Being HUB from its inception as a pilot project in 2021 through its growth into an independent not-for-profit in 2024.

Lesley was first introduced to community-based work as a youth participant on a Canada-Uruguay exchange program, an experience that shaped her collaborative approach to collective well-being and sparked a lifelong love of travel and interest in Latin America's diverse cultures and regions.

She remains deeply committed to the Well-Being HUB's mission of advancing community-based mental health and wellness to build supportive, resilient, and thriving communities.
