Our Services
At The Well-Being HUB, we promote a sense of community and belonging by offering a wide range of programs and services to enhance the overall well-being of our residents, including social prescribing initiatives that connect individuals with community resources, activities, and support networks tailored to their needs.
Navigation Services
Our Navigators are community links, helping community members access resources, navigate systems, connect with necessary care and other supports. They also provide information about services, practical supports, and connections to community resources.

Visiting Buddies &
Companion Volunteer Programs
The Visiting Buddies Program connects older, isolated adults with friendly volunteers for meaningful social interaction. Volunteers are paired with an older adult for weekly visits of 1–3 hours, either at home or out in the community, while our Volunteer Companion Program helps seniors with errands or appointments.

Peer Support Program
Our Peer Support Program connects community members across the Eastern Shore and Musquodoboit Valley with trained volunteers who provide understanding, encouragement, and hope during challenging times. This program is all about connection — offering a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly with someone who truly listens and walks alongside you.

Community Programming
We offer workshops and information sessions that educate on topics related to mental health & wellness, aging in place, managing chronic disease, and those that address the social determinants of health. Some of our programming is designed to provide the opportunity to connect socially, bringing community members of all ages together to learn new skills and have fun.
